Heated seats in a Base Roadster
Just finished connecting the heat for my leather seats I installed.
Not too bad of a job just just a lot of disasemmbly of the interior to get the wiring done. The seats have to come out, the radio and center console come out to install the switches, floor console comes and the back panel behind the seats gets loosened to get the wires from the seats to the switches and the left side lower dash panel comes out to get the wies from the power distrubtion to the switches. Oh yea the sill plates also have to be removed to aid in getting the wires from the seat to the switches.
Quite as bit of disassembly but worth it, now I have power heated leather seats .........Just hope the heating element doesn't burn out like I've be reading in other post.
there's some photo's in my gallery for anyone that's inrterested.
Also there is a center consloe on eaby with the switches for the heated seats

hey droptopxfire ! i have been trying to find some help on putting power heated srt-6 seats and fog lights in my 2006 base coupe , i have been trying to find some one that is willing to sell the 2005 wiring harness to me but it seems to be a rare item , do you have any ideas >? If at all possable i would like NOT to cut any wiring hince the notion of just swaping out the harness , .... any help would be great !
The wiring for the seats is not a seperate Harness, it is part of another harness for the interior. You can't just puchase "The harness for the seats". With the wirning diagram from the service manual you could fabircate your own harness for the circuits required for the power and heat for the seats .
