I have a 2005 roadster with the cedar interior, Question to the forum - has anyone esle experienced the stihing coming apart on the bottom cushion?
This is happening on both sides, I have had a passenger no more than 9 times since I bought it in July 07. Also before 1 of you ask - I weight 195.
Never happened in the Audi or Jag, My wifes A6 is an 02 , and I had my 97 Cabriolet for 6 years, 147,000 miles and 4 hours aday commuting in Chicago.

Warranty item?

 

If you purchased it brand new, your 3 year warranty should still be in effect. Everything is supposed to be covered I believe.

 

If you have cleaned the seats since you got it maybe the cleaning product is not compatible with the stiching? Otherwise it should be covered by warranty I guess.....even if you bought it used. I hope you have a good dealer close by.

 

My 2005 is having same issue with driver seat. The stitching is coming apart near top of seat. I was lucky and picked up two brand new seats on Ebay and am keeping them for replacements when it finally gets bad.
