Default New shift ****

Just recieved and installed my new shift ****. Thanks to all the prior installs written up here, I had no problems taking off the old one...like I didn't knock myself out.

Bought it at ForMyMercedes.com...mind you they weren't giving them away, but I think the look warrants the price of admission.

Peace
Paul

Very nice! I've been thinking about doing the same. I've been debating between wood and leather. The wood looks very nice and compliments the red/cedar interior.

Why didn't you get one to match the interior, or are you going to get it done by SRT SIX???

I'm not trying to be an *** I just didnt get why IT was woodgrain and you didnt have wood. I agree it goes very well with the interior colors I just thought maybe you were going to add some woodgrain. Here is the **** I think would look best in our crossfires going cheap on ebay RENNTECH http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Renntech-C-Class-shift-****-Silver-matte_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33703QQihZ012QQit emZ220202942865QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

Was thinking maybe something like this.

Jonny: My intention was to add just a dash of wood/chrome that would class up the interior a bit. Not really looking to change the total apperance of the center dash area that drastiscally. Of course, I could change my mind someday and do a little Burlwood action on the dash, one never knows. But for now I've dropped enough cash.
I like the Renntech one, but I feel, looks wise, it's not much different than the stock one.

Peace
Paul

Please don't. A wood dash on a xfire just clashes.

Well OK, if you insist, that will save me money I can put towards the Sprint Booster purchase.

My friend has that **** on his SL32 it looks great on his & yours.
That was going to be my second choice, but I decided on the wood instead, for this is the ONLY thing I'm doing in the interior....other than my floor mats.
