Default Keyless Go!!!

Check this out.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Merce...spagenameZWDVW

I wonder if that **** would fit and if it could be retrofitted to use the push button start mod. Cooler **** plus you wouldnt have to cut holes or sacrifice the lighter for push button.

Things that make you go "hmmm?????"

In the auction it says that it was taken off the car to be replaced with a wooden one - SO WHY IS THERE A MERCEDS BOX WITH IT IF IT CAME OFF THE CAR?

Nice catch svo. Although the box could be for the wooden one.

So the guy's lying about having an SL. Who cares. At least it's a merc box and not a ebaycrapforyoutohockforcheap.com box.

its very very fishy... any one who knows a bit about mercs will tell u that the sl55 or any merc with a v8 or v12 have a auto box no exceptions and this clearly isnt an auto ****... wouldnt buy it and the keyless go definilty wont be compatible even if u plug it in somehow

They also know that the auto stick comes with a boot because the pattern is marked on the console next to it, there's a digital read out of gear selection on the dash, and the tiny little rod with a giant shift **** on top looks like a qtip for the iron giant, i've been wanting to put a boot on mine for a while just haven't been able to find that damn round-tuit. Oh, and I know the keyless go itself wont work but I just wonder if the button itself could be wired to work with the push button start mod rather than putting a button where the cig lighter is.

The guy probably wasn't lying about it coming off an SL55. I was looking for one for my XF in black and ran across this auction. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cars-...em260250017599

Now all I have to do is figure out how to wire it into the ignition circuit and get it so it will not engage the starter unless the engine is off and the clutch is depressed.

I found a company that claims to make an rfid system for aftermarket so it could truly be keyless go and not just push button. I sent them an email and haven't heard back yet, will update if I find out anything.

I've been looking for a while and haven't found another company that offers such a thing so it's probably either really friggin expensive or rubbish. Anyway, we'll see.

I'd do it, but I would want more range on the reciever. I dont want to have to leave a big damn palm print on my window to get in. I think on the BMW's and so forth when you have the card in your pocket and get within like 5 feet of the vehicle it automatically unlocks and the same goes in reverse when you exit the vehicle.

people once thought the world was flat... it'll work, maybe not the same way it would from the factory, but I'll get that damn button to start the car
