I'm thinking about ordering the the blue carbon fiber dask kit from

Has anyone used them for any dash kit? What are your opinions on these kits?

If it was real carbon fiber - cool.
If it looked like regular carbon fiber (black) - OK.
Blue fake/plastic cheap faux finish - enuff said.
Tasteful wood finish - always classy.

 

Do the kits come out nice?? I've heard mixed opinions on the forum? Does anyone know of any companies in the NY/NJ area that would do the molds like SRT SIX's??

 

The big difference is that usually dash trim "kits" are stick on, and show some silver on the edges because it can't contour to the shapes.

Processess such as SRT-SIX's looks MUCH nicer, but is also more of a hassle / more expensive.

It's up to you which you prefer.

 

There's a couple of companies out there that you can send your parts, and they will finish then in just about any wood or color finish. SRT SIX might be able to help you. I'll try and find them and post a link to their site.

 

Are any of these companies to send the parts to in the NY/NJ area?? I've been looking online, to be honest I don't really know what I'm looking for.
