Default Aero Blue Painted Center Console

I just picked my SRT6 Coupe up from the custom auto shop. They painted my center console to match my aero blue exterior. They did a great job; the pics don't really do it justice.... How can I get the camera to grab more of the color?

The pics are the only photos in my gallery so check em out.

here is the link if you're technically challenged- https://www.crossfireforum.org/galle...y.php/cat/1050

Ask it nicely? haha.

No but seriously, there would be a couple of different ways. The best would be to introduce more natural light into the environment. This would help capture a better color spectrum than artificial light. Other than that, a high resolution/megapixel camera would help some also...

Pics look great btw.

EDIT: If you don't mind me asking...what did that paint job run you?

looks nice.. I have been wanting to do mine black for a while, i'm just extra **** and need to have the buttons / ***** match too...

Also color looks fine over here, a lot of times its the monitor your using that needs a tune rather than the pictures (not saying thats the case but I know my home monitor is hot on the red side).

it was $300. I opted not to have the buttons done. I like the contrast and goes well with the silver items in the car, door stuff/radio etc... Were looking at some other areas to add some aero blue to, I'll keep everyone posted.

That looks very good. That would go VERY well with the Aero Blue triple pillar pods I should have shortly. That would make the pillars look even more factory. Now I just have to find a shop to do it locally. Thanks for the great idea.

Rodimus, Looks good!

Have you considered added the chrome trim pieces to accent the look.

Looks great and I think I'll do mine the same way.

As Zahanma pointed out, using more sunlight will help with the color. You can also try a different white balance setting on your camera if you have a digital one.

Looks terrific. I've been looking to do something with mine, have a graphite roadster with cedar interior
the silver is ok, like the carbonfiber look but won't do peel and stick and not going to the expense of the real overlays - this might be it - thanks

Very nice,

I'm having mine done next week, just need to decide on a colour. Areo blue coupe with the slate interior, do you think a high gloss black would look good? I've changed the stereo as well to a kenwood KDC-BT8041U

http://shop.audioimages.co.uk/kenwoo...er-p-1115.html

and 'm having the dials done but not the buttons as I dont want to lose the symbols.

Any way as I said it looks good,

Jamie

Nice head unit. Post some pics after yours is complete.

I'm still waiting until I find the perfect unit, I think I'll be waiting forever though.

lol thanks for the plug mike, here are some pictures of mine, Might give you a better idea on how the graphite will look. We can do painted center consoles for $200 if anyone is interested, pm me for details on the pillar pods, double din centers, painted A pillars, or painted consoles if you are interested.

I hope people are not tired of seeing these pics, I dont want to do is pull an SRT-DAN, I just cant believe people have missed this stuff probably because I have only been posting in the SRT section. feel free to let me know if enough is enough.

jonnyangel04,

I've missed alot of bits seeing as I've only just got my XFire, still trawling the forums, love that paint job looks very clean, I'm hoping mine will come out that well, I think I've decided on a deep gloss black fingers crossed it will look good, we'll find out next week anyway.

I had a custom auto shop do the work....

I wouldn't trust myself doing this stuff.
