This should be the basis for a no smoking ad shown on the Speed channel.

yes check in to a place that does seats and upholstery, I know that dealerships use these guys to fix a lot of interior problems so they may be able to do a spot repair on your headliner

Check with LKQ salvage. They usually have alot of crossfire parts. Get a new/used one.

I had a similar problem in my crossfire. I was practicing juggling 2 open cans of gasoline and 1 lit torch in my car, lets just say I had a small accident and my car is now a little worse for the wear.

thanks guys for the replies. I guess I wasnt very detailed about what happenend. I was driving down the street, and decieded to open a can of mountain dew( not beer) and put it in the cupholder. AT a stop light,
some tc parked right next to me. I knew exactly what that meant
keep in mind that I had already lit a cigeratte in my hand. light turns green, and boom, he managed to get a small lead due to traction control. No problem, within a few seconds I was gone.
As I went to reach for my soda, It was on my seat!!Oh Shi% I paniced and with my cig. hand I reached to clean it and bam, it rubbed againts the roof.
What I'm thinking is removing a back panel, cut a small piece and glue it in.
Or maybe takin it to the upolstry.
I dont know
Thanks guys

This is a little off topic, but I saw a really pretty woman today, smoking, while driving her Toyota Prius "Hybrid".
I don't know, maybe it's just me. But I thought that was odd.

that little mistake will cost you probably $300 for an upolster shop to fix, too bad the fabric isnt available, guess you will have to deal with it or go with a different color mercedes fabric

A few months ago I saw a Prius that some guy (mid 20's driver) put a fart-can exhaust on.

Same thought as you probably had.......just shaking your head and asking yourself..."why???"

Well there is a bright side,
at least it wasn't a cigar. That whole would've been much larger.

If you have to smoke in your car, maybe try a pipe. I would love to pull up next to a fellow Crossfire owner and see em puffing on a pipe, haha.

just goes to show that even hybrids aren't safe from being riced out.

I smoke in mine, but I always have the window half down with the cigarette by the cracked window and I'm super careful how I flick it so all the ashes don't come back in lol. I always rub the headliner by the back of the window with a damp towel when I wash it and vaccuum it often. My car never smells like smoke inside. I'm the only one allowed to smoke in it and you'd never know I do.

I smoke cigars in mine ... never have the window as far as half down inasmuch as that far down and some of the ashes will blow back in ... also, I keep the fan on at at a low-medium rate which creates a positive air pressure inside the car and "pushes" the smoke out the window ...

In addiition, I have a 'ozonater' that plugs into the lighter socket ... this device is not a gimmick, it WORKS ... there is no odor of any kind lingering in my car ... it smells fresh and clean all the time ...

the ozonater is a device that I bought from a company in PA ... it cost me $115 ... I was turned onto it by a friend who had been using one in his new truck for about a year .. he smokes a cigar in his truck every day and after a year of doing so, his truck still smelled like new ... that sold me and I've been extremely happy with the results ...

I'll send you info on where I got mine if you have any interest ...
