Now that it has turned colder (under 40 degrees) they have not worked at all, but before they would work on some days and then not on other. It's always both seats working or not working. No issues, noises, problems when they are working, but I really could not nail down a reason for them working some days and not others.

Anyone had this problem? Is it common?

 

The seats will work with the door open and the ignition off. They will not work with the ignition off and the door closed. You have to have the car on if your sitting in it. Might this be your problem ?

 

I have not tried using them with the door open/ignition off, but they were working previously with the car on and door closed. The first time I noticed they weren't working I was driving and my G/F was trying to adjust her seat, but couldn't. I tried mine and nothing. The next day...they were working fine while driving.

I'll try a couple different combinations and see what happens.
