Default My Car is Possessed - Help!

My stock radio is haunted in my car. Everything was going along fine for some time, then one day my car decided it hates talk radio. I know it sounds like a joke, but it is true. We have a local talk station here (104.1) that was my programed as my #1 preset. One day I get in my car & #1 is now the classic rock station (98.9). I tried to program it back thinking that someone was messing with me. Set the preset then it went right back to the classic rock station. So I tried to set talk radio to the classic rock preset #6 which also refused to be set to talk radio. I have tried on every single preset & the only station I can't program in is the talk station & every time I change anything they all default to 98.9. What is this all about??? It's not even the best classic rock station here .... Has anyone seen anything remotely like this before???

It is a sign from above...............talk radio is evil and only music should be played.

PS Just replace the old OEM deck with a new aftermarket setup

My radio goes to 93.1 almost every time I restart the car and it isn't even on of my presets. It's done this since day one.

Kim, have you tried to set it using the manual mode vs the seek/scan mode?

I find that for some of the weaker stations, I have to input it manually and then set it while the radio is still in the manual station finding mode.

Has Christine been reincarnated as a Crossfire?

If you are in "BEST FM" setting the radio will constantly change pre-sets.

I am a closet country music listener. I don't like to talk about it, I'm ashamed. My Crossfire loves hard rock. The last time I tried to set a station for country I woke up in a ditch. Car nowhere to be found. It came back on it's own the next day smelling of booze and cheap ******. I'm not sure if it doesn't approve of country music or if it's a lesbian.

I think it might have been afraid of waking up one day & discovering it was a truck with a gun rack mounted in the back window.

Remove the rear hatch door, it's a truck. Albeit, a very small bed. And room for two rifles at best.

Is it bad that I don't mind if she takes revenge on anyone who tries to hurt her??

The weirdest thing is that it is dumping the stronger signal & picking up the weaker one. I actually knew the car was for me when it seemed to want to go faster when Stranglehold or Back in Black came on, but sometimes I need to hear traffic!!!
