Default Aftermarket Pedals?

I am wondering if anyone has aftermarket pedals in their XF???

I have been looking at some for my 6 speed and think they would really dress up the interior quite nicely, and if they have more grip / better feel, even better

Any info is appreciated, I am sure with this group someone has done something, I would like info on mounting and style more than anything. Thanks.

John

John,

I havent but kinda like the stockers as they look pretty nice. Pedals to me are pedals. Unless the originals are pretty crappy to start with.

Thank you both, I was just thinking a nice aftermarket set of pedals with some silver accents would set off an already nice interior, especially if they matched an aftermarket shift ****....

Wayne, did you just drill and screw into existing pedals, or did you use brackets or what? Also how was the feel compared to the stock rubber pedals? Thanks.

You can also go on ebay and search on Mercedes Benz pedals. You will find a nice assortment and they fit the XF.

FP, I was considering doing this, but with the extremely limited number of MB models that are manual I thought i may have better luck finding a universal 6 speed set....

Will any benz pedals work?

This place will custom make a set.
ULTIMATE PEDALS

Here's a Momo dealer. The Momo's have matching dead pedals too.

Thanks a lot guys, I appreciate it.

Thinking of doing a little interior upgrades, new shifter and new boot (mine has a hole in it) anyone know anything about custom boots for this car, I saw a post on it and the company's website was offline for months....

John
I used the brackets for the clutch & brake, drilled the gas & dead pedals
I really didn't feel any difference, the new set looks like the LTD pedal's, with ribber & chrome.
Found on Ebay for MB.
I'll try to get pics.

I like the stock ones but can't understand why the cars were built without a dead pedal? My caliber has one

I agree, but what you guys out there with the pretty silver and black pedals do not understand is the base coupe (which I have) simply has black rubber pedals that look like something from a 20 year old yugo. I like the limited pedals very much, but the AMG ones I posted would be excellent, especially since they include a dead pedal.

Ahh, now it all makes sense. WHen I was looking at these I was saying "yeah they are nice but they look a lot like what we have on our pedals already" not realizing that you had a base with the good old rubber pedals!
