Question Power window switch problem

for some reason, the power window switch on the passenger side fell inside the console. i got my fingers up inside console and pushed it back up in the hole and heard it *click*, but it keeps falling right back out again. what could be causing this? and has anyone else had this problem? (O_o)

thanks in advance. i really do appreciate it.

My drivers side dropped last night. I pulled off the center console (around the shifter) and looked at my switches. There are four plastic tabs that hold the window switch in place. The front and back ones actually snap the switch in place.

Looks like the dealership broke one of my tabs off. $#|@!!!!

I'm guessing you have to replace the silver top trip piece if this happens, unless some else has an easier fix?

Mine is an auto, but I guessing the switches are built the same.
