Default Rotating the SEATS around?

Hi, nothing is coming up on the search button abaut this. I want to rotate the seats around so they wear out the same. Will I run into any problems? I also heard that the seat warmers are not as good on the passemger side. Is it rue? Thanks in advance.

My driver's side seat heater broke and had to be repaired under warranty - never had any problems with the passenger side...my wife always remarks how well her side works.

If you swap the driver and passenger seats, aren't you going to run into trouble accessing the seat controls?

I think that the seats are identical to each other and the switches can be moved to the other side, as the holes for mounting the switches are on both sides of the seat.
Edit
I guess not as the later post points out the fabric differance on the sides, but the seat base appears to be the same. maybe the motors and switches could be moved or probably the best idea is to switch the seat coverings as noted in a later post. Fabric showing instead of Chryslers "Corinthian" leather would not be bad.

The easier route may be to just pull the covers off each seat and switch them?

The inside edge of the seat next to the console is fabric. If you switched them that edge would now be on the outside while the leather would be to the console. Of course this would not matter on the basic models closth seats.

Might be easier to just spend $400 and get new seats..!

Hey,thanks for the suggestions. I'm trying to keep the crossfire show room worty, but at the same time I got to drive it. It really won't do much good to just keep it polished and look at it all the time.

I would suggest then, a set of covers. Put them on for your everyday and pull 'em when you want to show off.
They are relatively cheap. Black ones look good with any car color.

While I think the covers will give you a certain aspect of protection. I am assuming what you are trying to pervent/stop is the wear and fade marks that occur in the leather over time around the bolsters and raised points of the seat sides. A cover will do very little to help here, if I am reading this correctly.
