Default Looked at like I am the village idiot

So I go to my local Chrysler Dealership as I seem to have a minor problem with the Crossfire. Since purchase I have had a persistent wind noise issue. Today was the first time I have had the chance to actually look at the window and door under day light and get to the dealership. The moment I said I have a question regarding a Crossfire a tech scampered off and the service manager gave me a look as if I had just said lets eat cyanide and see what happens.Ugg its rather frustrating to deal with the dealerships at times, rather almost all the time.

So here is my actual problem, the windows are not seating correctly into the seals. I have pronounced wind noise from the mirror and from behind the driver/passenger area. On the driver side the window at about 1/8 of the way up begins to track on the outside of the seal rather on the inside. This results in a small but very noticeable and worrisome gap at the top of the window. The passenger side I can notice the improper tracking from the side view mirror. Does anyone have any ideas of suggestions as to a correction for the problem. Additionally I dropped max care and went to the 4 year unlimited mileage warranty b/c I use my car in the field on a weekly basis (a coworker put 30,000 miles on his car last year).

I will also post this thread in the coupe area.

Best regards and Merry Christmas
Jason

That is funny...but definantly not helping me out. Pretty soon I am going to need these... Vintage 1950-75 Micro Tube Microtone Hearing Aid - eBay (item 230415199695 end time Dec-28-09 16:11:38 PST)

The wind noise is starting to become a real PITA and the fun puddles of water are great to sit on. Maybe great grand pappy and I can compare notes on hearing aids.

I tried the Gas-X but apparently you need to lay off the dairy (lactose intollerant) and mexican food for it to be real effective.

Anyway steering this small post back toward the drug farm...window, gap, noise suggestions LMAO

Spoil sport!....

as mentioned on your other thread, the window can be adjusted to fit properly and stop the wind and rain. I know there are at least a couple of threads here on this issue...(other than yours)... find a good/recomended dealer in your area and have the TSB(s) done.

That was perfect! I'm glad to not be the only weenie on the forum!

Back to the window, windows can be adjusted up, down, left and right. Shop manual has the correct factory specs for the minimum spacing between the glass and the rubber seals.
