Default CF Wrap came today

I got home from work and had my Neffy Wrap waiting for me. I decided to go ahead and do my door panels, and get them put back on the car. I decided to do the back plate for the door handle and tweeter, and the backside of the door pull. I started to do all of the door pull, but thought a contrast of the CF and brushed aluminum would look good together. Ok, I just got them back on, and have not cleaned up the doors. Also, it is dark out so the pics could be better. I will try to take some more in daylight.

So, what do you think?

Thanks John. Now to start tearing my center console apart, and wrap it. I am really pleased with how it looks, and found it really easy to work with. The Neffy Wrap is $35 for a yard 55" X 36". The 3M 77 glue is $15. The 3m is no cheaper anywhere else, and shipping is free.

The console is the area I'm most concerned with... Take progress pics of the tight areas, *IF* possible.

Bring it on down Steve, and we will crank it out. The texture surprised me. I was expecting a rough feel, but it has a really smooth almost silky feel. When I grab the door pull, it has such a luxurious feel to it. The texture was an added bonus in my opinion.

Does it have the thickness to cover the common problem of cracked door pulls? Or would they slice through it?

Bill, if you are talking about the chrome overlay cracking and peeling, then yes. That was what initially got me interested in the CF wrap to start with. What I did after I got the door pulls off was..... I took a foam sanding block (I think it was a 240 grit), and sanded the back side of the pull until the cracked/peeling chrome was relatively smooth with the rest of the pull. Then I applied the wrap. The backing of the CF material seems very sturdy. I have no worries about it holding up.

Use 3M 77 spray glue on area to be wrapped. Let set for 30 seconds. apply material and stretch. Easy....easy! Here is a link to the instructions with photos. http://neffywrap.com/index.php?main_...u6fbj8rt5f19p6

Tighed, you can get the material at neffywrap.com. Check out the lexus forum, they are loving this stuff.

Cost?
$35 per yard 36" X 55" plus $15 for the spray glue.

It is so easy, John could do it with Steve supervising. LOL

Details, details, details!

Thanks Scott, maybe this will motivate you to get started. I think I will start taking the console apart this weekend. I think I remember you posting some pics a while back. Didn't you do a phone or something?

Nope.... just a spray adhesive. The material is stretchable to some degree, so it should make doing complex shaped items relatively easy.

That was photoman that wrapped his phone. I wrapped the amprack in Kolme's SRT6 I built.

Can't wait to see your finished projects!
