Question Accessories - Door Sills

My car came with the Factory Lighted Door Sills - 2pc
and I just read that they light up.

Can anyone tell me if they are wired up to somewhere specific?
I can not say that I have noticed them to do that and want to be able to go into the dealer and have them deal with it.
Also, where did the humidor sit in the car?

They are suspose to be wired into constant 12v and known good ground, then there are two trigger wires for each of the doors, so when you open any one of the doors they both should illuminate. The harness is suspose to be wired in on the passenger side behind the seat wall. I can't remember the colors of the wires on the harness for the sills, or the colors in the factory one, maybe someone else from the forum remembers.

What is the clue that they are lighted, were you told they are lighted? Maybe they are not.
The humidor is much prized by some and probably does not fit properly anywhere. When I get mine I'll tell you.

The sills are just held on with clips and are very easy to remove. On the passenger side, pull straight up on the sill to remove.......if there are no wires going from the front end of the sill to the rear and underneath the carpet, then they are not illuminated. Just push straight down to reinstall.

Should be a quick one minute check.

I still can not fathom where the humidor would sit. I have that silly little thing that pops up when pushed on, which I was told was a cup holder??????? Also have a console at the back.
Have you any pictures of the humidor?

The humidor sits inside the console.....that box under your elbow when you lift the lid.

Your right elbow when you're sitting in the driver's seat.

Or, your left elbow if you have a right-drive vehicle (since we don't know where you are from).
