Seat Heater Triumph !
I tore into the seat heater to see if it was a simple fix. The seat back works fine and the seat was an open circuit. Both bolster heaters checked fine but the connections to the front section and BOTH seat connections were broken. The PO must have been a "Heavy Sitter"
I cut off the felt pads covering the connections, soldered in a couple inches of extra wire for a strain relief. Covered all the connections with heat shrink and hot glued the felt cover pads back on.
Ohmed good and everything heats up like new.
Total cost $0.00 , Priceless
The passenger seat is in the same condition, I'm going to see if the repair to the drivers seat holds up, then I'll tear into the passenger seat.

Nice job. I plan to repair both my seat bottoms once it gets warm out. I don't drive it in the winter enough to be concerned about it now, but I would like them to work. More info or photos would be appreciated.

I should have taken a few pictures along the way, my bad. When I do the passenger seat I will.
If you follow the repair instructions in the "sticky" seat heater post it will
all make sense. I used the Chrysler repair kit instructions and just repaired all the broken connections that I found.

Great job! I have no heat on the drivers side at all. I am about to pull the whole seat cover off on the upper drivers side to replace the leather if I can figure out how it comes off. I will check the connections while I have it apart.
