Default Driver's Seat Belt Replacement

Somehow I ripped the driver's side seat belt.

Anyone know where to find a replacement? Anyone have any experience replacing a seat belt. 10 minutes searching online hasn't found anything at the typical parts places.

Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market lists LOTS of them, or stay in the family and PM MrMoPar and see if he has one.

At this point, I've checked Car-part.com and about 20 other websites. Good luck figuring out what seatbelts are what on those sites. I want one that is an exact match, but it's a complete guessing game on every website I've found.

I'll PM MrMoPar, and I'm also calling the dealer this morning. Moparpartsoverstock.com seems to show what I want, but it's impossible to determine from their terrible product descriptions, just like all of the other websites selling seatbelts.

Dealer says that I have to buy the entire assembly, can anyone confirm that?

They want $434 for parts. Another $200 to replace it.

The part number is 5099075AA if anyone needs that in the future, that's the part number that matches my interior color (black? charcoal?).

That price matches what I can find online. I have another way to get Mopar parts at cost, so I'll do that now that I have the part number and install it myself. Based on the dealer quote for labor, it must be pretty easy.

To but something from ebay or a used seatbelt from a damaged car is out of the question.
If you have the time to wait I can sell you mine in a month or so.

I don't know how true this is (can't believe everything on the internet, you know) but this site states that seat belts carry a federal 5 year/50,000 mile warranty. If your car is an '07 or '08 and under 50K, you might have a leg to stand on by having the dealer replace it for the price of "on 'da house".

Good luck!!

If you have to replace everything, and your latch side is in good shape, I would be interested in it. Mine seems to take a little finess to get it to latch.
