Default A long shot: Anyone have a PT Cruiser?

I've seen a couple PT Cruiser pictures floating around here as daily drivers and the sort so I'm wondering if someone might be able to offer some guidance:

What are the chances that a PT Cruiser handbrake handle would fit on the Crossfire handbrake? My Crossfire is in storage so I have no way of measuring or looking at how the handle goes on- is it a solid piece, does it slide over etc etc... and obviously I can't compare that to the PT Cruiser as I don't have one...

any thoughts/guidance/help would be appreciated

thanks!

I know there are several here who drive them, MikeInOrange sticks out, but I know there are at least one or two more...

PT Cruiser handbrake lever is a solid piece and the pics in the service manual don't look much like the Crossfire. Sorry, but I think you're out of luck.

Thanks, I do remember seeing a few posted as "other rides"... I've tried looking at pictures online and the handbrake on the PT Cruiser seems a little more rounded, but I don't have my Crossfire with me to compare

Yeah, my daily is a PT Turbo but without measuring to be certain I think the handbrake cover on the PT is quite a bit longer than on the Crossfire. I can check later tonight after I get home and take a few measurements.

Looks like the pieces are a long way from being interchangeable! The handbrake cover on the PT, measured from the opening for the button to the point where it enters the center console is 9" for the PT and 5.5" for the Crossfire. Also, the cover on the PT is 3/4" thick and 1.5" tall, while the Crossfire's is 1" thick and 1.25" tall. Worse still, the PT has a round button while the Crossfire's is more rectangular. I'm pretty both basically slide on and off, but that's sort of a moot point after taking a closer look at them both.

Thanks guys (sorry Buck Spunni, I didn't see your post until just now)..

I found a Startech PT Cruiser handbrake handle that would perfectly match my Startech shift **** but I guess its a no-go... Appreciate everyone's time!
