Beer tap shift ****... Possible?
I saw the idea for a beer tap shifter. You take a beer tap handle and throw it on your shifter with a few mods. I know it's possible for six speed ***** that have a thread on them. But I have the auto-stick with the push-on type. Is it possible? I know some of the older guys may think it's dumb but im 19 and I like cool sh*t like that. Asking for any advice you guys have. Or any ***** that would fit our car. I am wanting something unique. Maybe a bubble shifter. Just let me know!!

Possible ? Sure. Take yours off and see how it attaches.take beer tap and modify it to fit. You might learn how to use some tools in the process. You will acquire some skills and have better knowledge to execute your new ideas in the future which hopefully will be better. Lol

I made my own wooden shift handle for my automatic. I don't recall the size hole I drilled in the bottom so you will have to measure again. I drilled the wood handle 1/32"or 1/64" size smaller than the shaft diameter for a starting point. Being wood, I was able to slide the handle on with some force. It is very tight and no additional fastening is needed. Just an idea for you to incorporate into your design.

My favorite custom shift ***** were the Hurst T-Handle. (With button for line lock)
Also I had a drilled and tapped 10-Ball (Blue and white) in my old Dodge Van's 4sp. The blue matched the interior and the **** was great.
If using a threaded ****, put a Helicoil in to prevent stripping it out when shifting.

His sig says he passes Mustangs, I guess I was like that at that age and I wish I still was.
It certainly would hinder some romantic encounters though.

That method would work for me, but up here in the North I used a different approach in painting mine by inserting a bolt in the mounting hole, and then using a magnetic tool holder strip to hold it up.

Seeing the Hurst shift **** brought back memories. When I was 18 I had a Formula 400 Firebird with a 4 speed. It had a Hurst shifter.
