Default Cell phone mounts

I wasn't sure where to post this at, I put it in the search an nothing came up!

I'm looking to get something to mount on the dash so I can hook my iphone onto. But I am nervous with what to buy, I don't want anything to damage the dash.

Thanks in advance,
mike

Me too. I use this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

works well, and stays put. Except over the deepest potholes. Then the phone will shift, but it has never fallen off. Works through my phone case, too.

Hello Mike,
I found a unit that goes into the CD slot, expands and is magnetized. A small, 1" X 1-1/2"
VERY thin piece of metal attaches to the back of your phone. When you place the phone near the mount it just grabs it. Has been working GREAT. If you have a cover on your phone, as I do, you can just place the metal piece behind it.

I use Okra magnetic mounts. Clamp units would fall off on a fast shift. These don't & very easy on-off in different cars.

These would be my first choice. But, alas, I don't have one of those archaic "CD" things.
