I found the garage door opener difficult to see at night. First,
I covered it with the silver carbon fiber, but, the flush mounted black buttons were still difficult. Next I went to Hobby Lobby and purchased the silver decorations. To attach them I scuffed the buttons and the bottoms of the Silver pieces and glued them on with PC7 epoxy, it's important you use a quality epoxy.
