'05 SRT-6 Coupe: I just ran through the post on removal of the dome light's fixture to install LEDs. I've had mine off before to see if I could fix the bulbs from not coming on or coming on and staying on. This also goes for the trunk light. I did this some time ago but don't remember the center black unit.

If I was to switch in a 'new' black unit, since I assume that is where the dimmer portion is located, might that fix it (assuming it is a good one). Or not?
