Default Wind screen deflector question

Hello, I am considering buying a after market windscreen deflector for my 2008 convertible Crossfire. Any feed back if they are worth their money? Is there a significant decrease of noise with the top down?
Many thanks.

I got my 2005 Roadster about a year ago. I drove it about four months without the wind screen. Then, I bought a WindRestrictor (windrestrictor.com) wind deflector and noticed a significant difference in wind coming from behind me. I don't know about the noise difference but there is less turbulence coming into the passenger compartment.

It looks good with the top up, too. You WILL get some reflections/glare from it under some light conditions but it isn't bad.

I added my own light bar to the bottom to illuminate it. Only cost about $8 at Harbor Freight to do that.

The folks at windrestrictor.com are very friendly. They can probably make anything you want. Look for a discount code for forum people like us and you might save a couple of bucks.

Do you have a picture or the Harbor Freight item number for the lightbar. I have been trying to find a suitable light for my deflector. Thanks

This Harbor Freight "Under Cabinet" LED light bar works well. It has a push-button switch which toggles it to on, then brighter, then flashing, then off. All I've done so far is mount it under the wind deflector pointing up using black cardboard and black plastic tape. The LEDs illuminate upward into the wind deflector and light it up nicely. I don't need a remote control for the switch. I can reach over and punch the button. I need to make the setup a little more sophisticated...but it works like it is.

My feelings are that the mesh windscreens are the most functional

There is a "look-a-like, knock-off" to the Adam Mesh windscreen. Look at this website: CLICK
