Description:
Hi Forum Members - Originally last Fall I was going to work on the few flaws my roadster has before I brought it out next Spring, but then a job half way across the states has me wondering if I want to take my car into a winter wonderland where I will drive it even less than I do right now. So I thought I would float the idea out to sell this bone stock STR6 roadster and see if anyone is interested at my price. I originally bought the car in 2010 for my wife with something like 21,000 miles. We had it for a year and I was transferred to Wyoming where the hail was huge, so before it could get damage I gave it to my mom and her husband. They drove it off-and-on for about 2 years and then put it in a storage locker. Then moved! They left the car in Missouri and moved to the west coast. After sitting parked for 5 years I rescued the car and drove it to Maine where I was working. When I moved back to Arkansas, I put it on a trailer and brought it down with me to warm climates. Now it looks like I am moving back, so...lets see if anyone wants it.
The car has always been garaged when we owned it, warm weather driving only (it has been out in the rain). I have 3 keys. Two that we use and one brand new in the manufactures wrapping. The car runs perfect. It has newer (maybe 2K miles or less) Michelin Sport 4s, All lights work as they should and all dummy lights are operational (Yes my TPMS is operational). As I stated, its bone stock, accept for a Mercedes water pump that was installed about 2-3K miles back. I sent the SKREEM (I think that was what it was) off to have it updated (re-soldered). I have the complete set of luggage (from another SRT6) in the box. I have an aftermarket spare water pump as it was so hard to find one with the supercharger nipple. I also have several belts, air and oil filters, and pulleys (all stock) from Rock Auto so I think they are right but didn't measure them.
Things wrong: My step father ran over a parking bollard which has scratched the lower passenger foil (pictures attached). The rims are OK (see attached), There is a slow water drip at the front driver corner of the convertible top that I can not figure out why as the top and gaskets look perfect to me. Two summers back it sounded like I was losing the center bearing in the drive shaft. I lifted it up to look at it. Everything looked and felt tight. Lowered it and the sound was gone. The battery is two years old and solid. It does discharge if I do not leave it on a battery conditioner if I do not start/drive it for a month or so. This battery has always been on the conditioner. I think there might be a bracket missing from when I had the water pump replaced. (See picture of front of engine)
I'm looking for $18,500, firm. I live in Brookland Arkansas. I'm sure you have questions, so let me have them
thankyou
