Is your brake light broken or half out? They can be repaired. Use the search feature at the top of the page.

 

I have if off of my 2006 convertible. It seems like it was heat sealed or glued at the factory. I will look for some posts discussing how to take it apart

had my third light repaired on my 2005 Roadster by this shop ... they do a great job at a fair price ... turn around is quick ... highly recommend them

 

As an FYI, I decided to fix it myself. Looking at the car from the rear, the left side would not always light. Once I got it opened up, the fault was in the two jumper wires that bridge the two boards. I took out the original jumper wires & soldered in new ones. Works like a champ. I did not completely seal the light in case it happens again (which I do not think will happen) but I did use water proof tape on the bottom so it stays dry. IMHO this is a design flaw in the roadster. The trunk can only slam shut so many times before something comes loose. There is currently one on ebay for $399 which was a major factor in motivating me to fix it myself.
