So I have looked for two things. Crossfire luggage as well as the Trunk SRT-6 emblem.
Everytime, multiple people reach out and all of them are scams.
They mention other, well known forum members and their email address and when you reach out to the email they will send you pictures, that were taken off the forum from old posts.
How do we stop it?
One guy referenced Sussudio as having the Crossfire luggage and being a dealer. He gave me "sussudio's" email and of course the person behind that address wasn't actually Sussudio.
Here are two people who are offering me a SRT-6 trunk emblem. Similar tactics, scam.
How can this be prevented? I wonder how many owners fall for this stuff?

You guys are both correct. At the end of the day it's on the buyer. It's just sad. Not everyone is tech savvy or as careful as someone like us who might have grown up with Internet, smart phones, daily phishing emails and other scams.
I joined the forum in 2011 and I bought many parts through the forum. Never once did this pattern happen.
Tried to purchase something twice in the last couple months and it's been the same trick. Someone reaching out, sometimes even mentioning the name of a well known name on the forum and then stating "but person x-has not been online here as of recently, reach out by email".
And of course turns out that isn't actually the person.
It makes me wonder how many people have fallen for it. Stay diligent folks!

Not much else we can do with our Marketplace
Use caution and don't pay for anything without a Credit Card transaction
