2007 Six Speed SE Roadster
For Sale2007 Chrysler Crossfire
Description:
It is time. My 3rd Crossfire will be my last. My age, back and eyes (mostly my back) mean that I can't drive the car for more than 30-40 minutes without my spine condition flaring up.
The photos tell the story: Manual, 74,000 miles, new BAS top in 2020 (thanks Robert McCubbin and Zachary Joslyn). SEs are Base models - there is no Homelink transmitter, TPMS or audio amplifier, nor are there rear speakers. Well, mine has rear speakers - I added Kenwood Speakers in back, using parts (mounts and bezels) from a parts car (thanks Jeff Kielmeyer and Tricia Bramblett). Sound system is a CHEAP JVC four channel head.
Gauges can be removed and the original pillar cover re-installed. I can do this before you take it home, or you can do this later - but I really like the gauges. The aftermarket gauge pod does not hide all the wires (see photo) I intended to use the factory trim to cover them, but I lack the skills to customize the trim - so the factory trim is included in the sale.
Rear tires have just under 3000 miles on them, fronts have just over 10,000. Comes with two working keys.
Full written service history going back to when I bought the car in 2015, as well as the CarFax up to 2015 are included. In 2015 and for six years, the car was plagued with electrical issues. The Valeo alternator kept failing, in 2022, I put a BOSCH unit in (new, not rebuilt, $390!) this ended the electrical issues with the car. Original jack, airpump, manuals and pouch, factory top tool and hex key, spare RCM and spare CPS, are included.
I am near Forth Worth, Texas. $8500 seems fair to me and you.
I just cant drive one of these cars for 5 hours at a time anymore. I was gonna keep the car as a grocery getter, but if I sell it, I can get a Jeep and have a new toy that my back likes. In fact, I will probably have the Jeep by middle of next week anyway.
I've priced it to sell, but frankly, Im not in a hurry to sell, other than I wanna get the Jeep in the garage as the one I have my eye on is a little bit of a project, it needs some cosmetic work (and I hope not mechanical).
