Default SLK help

Hello I’m a 62 year old whom after 20 years of not having my own car I came across a car I couldn’t pass on a 2001 SLK 320 and have been searching and searching for ways to boost performance, and for the slk there always seems to be a road block I keep running into, which led me here for answers “Can Crossfire Srt6 parts help my cause”?

Pretty hard to get bang for buck performance parts for these S170 series, supercharged versions can have boost increased but that's about it. The best way to buy one of these is to get one with the power you want, spend money on brakes, tyres, wheels ...........

You mention a 2001 SLK320, this is not the supercharged version of the 3.2-liter engine, the supercharged version would have 2 emblems on the rear trunk lid, SLK32 and a AMG emblem as well. There are a few things that can be done to increase performance, a cold air induction system, a 74CM throttle body and a performance tune. You can obtain ALL of these items from a supplier associated with this forum, Rob @ Needswings.com (located in Michigan).

Thanks I’ve seen them mentioned in videos and those are the mods I would be interested in after a valve cover gaskets coil packs plugs and wires. I’ll start there, what about suspension upgrades?

Maintenance first, then upgrades. That's what I've learned the hard way.
