That's right the title says it all. Here is a video I put together over the weekend of the june 4th xf meet we had. Do realize this is my first time editing film and my camera operator wasn't the best in the world as you will see in the film. The only way we will get better is by practice, so lets plan so more meets!!!

I bet the other regional forum members didn't realize that we hired professional auto show models to display our X-Fires!

Next outing - when / where?

 

Thank you harbor. After seeing the film for the first time with my brother I showed him some things that will help him shoot a lot better film for next time.

Speaking of next time maybe a trip to the drag strip then out for a BBQ (or a cruise up the river for a BBQ). For this kind of setup it would be best to do it on a saturday that way we have all day and night. Then sunday everyone has time to recover.

 

Rodney...nice job...worth the wait. Don't be too hard on your brother. He's 13...and this was his first video. Not bad at all. Editing also very fine. More than likely you'll be harder on your work than the rest of us. I like the combination of stills and video. My hat's off. You've got my vote as the forum group videographer and editor.

 

Thank you mark, I hope it was a good birthday present for you. Don't worry about my brother, he knows I am joking and was just in good fun (we both had a good laugh at some parts of the film that didn't make the cut). Also thank you for the vote, I enjoy taking picture, shooting video, and editing it all so lets plan some more meets so I can get more practice.

Ok then well the GTG was in Auburn Hills at the Chrysler Museum behind DCX HQ.

 

Sorry about the GTG thing, I've just seen it so much that I forget that not everyone knows what it stands for. Get Together. You'll also see it as M&G, Meet and Greet.
