Any Crossfire owners in the Chicago area?

 

Is Crystal Lake considered part of the Chicagoland area ?...You are pretty out there, I myself live in Cicero...about 8 miles from downtown....I had posted the same thread in the past...only a few replies. I guess xfires don't run in packs here...which would explain the reason why I only see a few a month...I guess nobody is interested on taking a trip or a meet on a weekend...talk about cool seeing a few xfires driving down the road.

 

I know Cicero well. I grew up not too far from there. Yeah, Crystal Lake is considered part of the Chicagoland area. Though far northwest, about 35 miles.

I love going into the city, Big Sox fan.

 

That's cool man...we have now two things in common in transportation and baseball team...was pretty sad when our Sox got bumped out by the Twins, oh well at least we still have bragging rights over the Cubbies and didn't finish last...

 

I'm out here in Batavia. Cubs fan as a kid, pretty much gave up years ago, but still enjoy Wrigley Field. Going there tomorrow.

That is true...at least the Bears are looking good, will have to wait and see how they match up with Seattle this sunday.

 

Does Joliet count as being in Chicagoland?

I'm 1/2 mile from Chicagoland Speedway, 1,000 ft. from Route 66 Dragstrip and 3 miles from the Autobahn AutoClub (a RoadAmerica style track).

FP, I played a disc golf tournament in Crystal Lake this past summer, Lippold Park was the course we were at.

 

adoni, I know Lippold Park well. I live just a few miles from there. You will have to tell me if you're ever in the neighborhood again. And absolutely, Joliet is part of the Chicagoland area.

 

I'm in mokena as some may already know.
I'm looking for a good dealer to have some warranty work done.
ie, secondary water pump/ S/C pulley bearing problem.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Hey crystal lake...I boat near you...

 

Cool FP...any other xfire's interested, what would be a good place to make the trip to...or maybe we could all get together for a bears game...would be cool to see a bunch of xfire lined up at a sports bar for a bears game...Also do any of you bowl ? I myself bowl on a Thursday night league here in Chicago...maybe we could put a team together some day, just a thought.

 

Meeting at a sports bar to watch a Bears game sounds like a great idea. OK Chicago land XF guys and gals, lets come up with suggested bars. I'm willing to drive wherever.

Cub fans or Sox fans, we have a couple of things in common. Bear fans and love our XFs.

Where and when?

 

I was hoping we could all throw I a suggestion and decide where to meet based on the location of all that are interested. I'll suggest a central location in Schaumburg. Champs is one option.
