Michigan G-T-G?
I've been trying to think of another GTG we can do in September.
Here are some sites I found with various events, scenic drives, etc.

You just missed about 20 of us at Woodward.
Keep an eye on this thread for updates.
Hey Ryan...are you going to open up a new Woodward '08 thread? I was just asking so we don't end up with redundant threads on the same topic?
Besides...it's never too early to start recruiting for next year! I KNOW there's more Crossfires out there than prowlers!

Say, care to help me narrow down a few prime spots for next year? Once we get some good choices, I'll start the calling and reserving (hopefully).
Think the Moose Preserve is a good spot?
Any input is much appreciated.
I think we'd all prefer somewhere closer to 13 mile if at all possible. At least somewhere within walking distance of the Chrysler exhibit!
I was planning on doing a little leg work on that this weekend. That is why I was asking about the new thread.

I know Traverse City is a bit of a drive for most people, but if there is interest, we'll may be doing the "East Arm" drive and maybe a Elk Lake/Torch Lake drive this Labor Day weekend. http://www.trails.com/tcatalog_trail...lid=XFA117-022
There are about 20 wineries, 2-3 brew-pubs, and many nice restaurants in and around Traverse City. Oh, and hundreds of views of the bays/lakes/hills.
Also, for 2008, I agree with apkano, nearer to Birmingham/13 mile would be good and. like Iamfink2, I liked the Moose Preserve for at least a dinner/evening arrangement - they are nice people, good food (the Wild Thwang thing was good!!), and a large parking area!

Maybe I missed a G-T-G today at Ram's Horn restaurant on Dequindre?
Just curious if they were forum members?...I work a mile from the Ram's Horn restaurant at 13 1/2, passed by there about 11:40 am and saw 3 Crossfires in the lot!
I would have stopped if I wasn't late for a meeting.
