Road construction never starts here because it NEVER ENDS !!

 

That's not true, it ends around 6:00pm (about the same time the traffic ends) and starts again around 6:00am (about the same time the traffic starts again)
Or, you could say it ends when they have everything torn up and it starts again when they tear up something else.

 

Chicago sounds the same now as when I lived there. St Louis has become a similar scene ever since the Legislature required the Govenor to spend the road tax money (collected at the pump) for roads of all things, instead of blowing it on all of their pandering social programs. Highway projects all over the state.

We are changing the State flower to an orange and white safety barrel.

Imagine shutting the Eisenhower down from the loop to the Tristate for 2-4 years. That is what they are doing here to I-64 from downtown to the
I-270 outerbelt.
