I hope not. I don't go by that way every day, which is a bummer because I wanted to stop and check it out - see if it had a plate. If it was abandoned, I was thinking I'd try to find out what was going to happen to it. Maybe I'd need to rescue it!

 

Voyager - I'm in Batavia as well, bsb6, areoblue roadster. Yesterday,I spotted a parked ssb srt around 7:00 am in the Target lot as I left XSport, would that have been you?

I've had a rather long dry spell when it comes to spotting crossfires.

 

Happened to see a light blue roadster go past on Roosevelt Rd in West Chicago today. The front wheels had so much brake dust, they looked black.

 

My business is in W. Chicgao but that wasn't me. My car is a little dirty, however, I clean the wheels all of the time.

 

Stopped at the Starbucks in Crystal Lake this morning, and while have my coffee outside, this AB roadster parks next to me. It turned out to be Bruce (dtd14) , one of our CICCI members.

 

2 new sightings, and that black SRT6 is still sitting at the gas station with the tow sticker. I stopped and checked it out. Someone left a note on it, offering to buy it and pay the towing fees. I got the plate number and noted a parking permit from a complex in a neighboring town, that expires May 2010 - so I'm guessing he got it in May of this year. Gonna go try to find the owner tomorrow.

My new sightings...

Blue coupe going north on Kirk Road, just north of Butterfield around 7:30 this morning. We both turned east onto Fabyan parkway.

Saw a red coupe going east on 159th street, around Homer Glen. Probably around 6 pm.

 

Had a blue roadster behind me on Fabiyan Parkway tonight coming home. We both turned left on Kirk.

Was that you BSB?

 

That was me.

I backed off a bit once on Kirk, the police like to wait right across from the Aldi HQ and there was the guy on the motorcycle.

I normally take that route between 5:45 & 6:15. Perhaps we'll meet again.

I also saw the tail end of a coupe while watching ABC 7 news yesterday.
They were showing footage of Obama (ugh!) leaving his bithday dinner.

 

I leave work right around 6... maybe 6:15-ish. I work at the NAPA paint store on Roosevelt, just east of Fabiyan, so I go home that way every day too. If I see a cop, he's usually off the road where you cross under that pedestrian walkway thing. ... that's why I have a good RADAR detector. : )

I'm usually only in the car if it's raining, or supposed to rain. Otherwise, I'm on my bike.

Red roadster, with the top up, heading east on Roosevelt Road in West Chicago.

Blue coupe in the gas station on the corner of Indian Trail Road & Rt 25 in Aurora.

Blue coupe, female driver, heading north on Rt 25 through Montgomery.

 

Black Limited Coupe in the parking garage at Empress Casino on Saturday night.

Saw a White Alabaster coupe last friday at the Shell station on York Rd and Diversey. Any takers? I even got a picture too (Which I can post if someone wants me to).

 

I was at 88 & Winfield today, but sure as hell not at 6:30 in the morning!

 

I was at home, in bed, sleeping until 9:30-ish. I was supposed to meet someone there "In the morning". I made it there by 11:30-ish - which counts as morning.

 

Aero blue SRT convert going north on Perryville & East State Rockford IL about 4:45 - I was in my SRT as well

 

Geez its been awhile since any sightings, but I saw a silver coupe going south on 47 just north of 90, on Friday March 4th about 2PM. Obnoxiously loud exhaust (LOL)

I was going south on 83 from Willowbrook the other day, saw a white coupe.

Where my friend works, there is a black Limited coupe from Indiana in the parking lot. Stock wheels with the center caps missing, blacked out tail lights.
