Coming home last night about ~7:00 PM, I saw a AB roadster at the intersection of Rt. 31 and Crystal Lake ave. Guy waived at me. I've seen this one around town a few times, but it seems like I'm usually in one of my other cars, or I'm at a distance and have not been able to approach him.

Got to get him on board.....

Hi everyone. I am looking at a 2004 Blaze Red Coupe at the Morton IL "Bob Grimm Chevrolet" dealer. It is an auto with 6000 miles. Does anyone know this exact car and know of any problems??

Thanks,
Jim

For a lil more since you are looking at an auto I would step up to the SRT6

It's for my Mother-in-law, who is a nice person, but the thought of her with an SRT-6, just scares the heck out of me! ;-)
Even worse, if my Father-in-law ever found the keys!! Ouch!

Sell her your roadster and pick yourself up a SRT

She doesn't want the 6-Speed or a convertable... Otherwise, it would have already happened! ;-)

Hi everyone. Thanks for all your comments. I actually talked to the previous owner, who traded it in because he needed a back seat for a grand-baby...
We picked up this Coupe yesterday and drove home to MI before the snow storm! I hated to drive it in the light snow down in Morton, but by the time we got near Chicago, it was a nice sunny day! We got it home, washed it, and parked it in the garage until we get some nicer weather.

Cheers, Jim

Congrats Jim. I hope we get to meet you come Spring or Summer. Either at a Chicago-land GTG, or at Woodward.

Thanks FP. We actually meet a couple years ago at Woodward (at the Church and then the first year at the new location). We drove our 2006 roadster down with RPM. I remember your car and some of the others had some really cool mods!

Take care,
Jim

I drove today LMAO, anyone living in chi city area knows why that's funny. I was plowing through with my nose as the clearance is lower than the snow height it was fun! Zipping in between cars but you gotta keep in mind that the rear likes to step out to the right all the time. It's annoying but o well.

With that plate, take a drive through the court house parking lot you'll probably find it there.
