Default Colorado Crossfires

I haven't seen much action from the Colorado drivers. I'm back from a great vacation next week, let's work on getting together in July. Maybe a run from Sedalia to Deckers on Saturday, later in the month?? Anyone have any other ideas? Rocky Mountain National Park is a long drive but??? Here are a couple of ideas I just ran across, what do you think?

Stuck here in the SW mountains with no time off in sight. As always, if you guys are ever near this side of the mountains give me a shout, I would love to get with the crossfire family. I am the only one that is infected with the crossfire disease. lol

We could do a run from Colorado Springs, over Wilkerson Pass, to Fairplay, to Breckenridge, and back down I-70.

Sounds possible, I went through the past colorado crossfire lists and sent everyone that has ever responded a note, there were a few from Denver. Let's see what the response is and we will work something out. I would love to get as many as possible together that are interested.

Would love to join you but in the process of moving to San Diego. The Crossfire just went on a truck this weekend to head out west.

Thanks for replying, I wish you a safe trip. I lived south of San Diego many years ago, worked in Point Loma, it will be a great place to drive the Crossfire. You might like to try eatting at Anthonys Fish Grotto, it was one of my favorites. There are so many great restaurants in that area. We should start a thread on great restaurants in our areas.

Ugh, I got the date wrong... Saturday is July 26th not the 25th. So far it looks like we have :
1. R.J. & Mary
2. Evan
3. Otis
4. Dave & Friend
5. Lenny ( not confirmed )

Let me know if there will be anyone else traveling with you? We are looking at leaving the Springs around 8am meeting in Denver around 9am for breakfast. It is about 62 miles from the west side of Denver. Maybe Evan or Otis can help out with a meeting place on the west side of Denver, somewhere off of C-470. The times are still up for change if there is a problem.

I'll probably have a friend coming along for the ride. If any of the Denver folks can think of a meet-up place that is on the route to Mt Evans that would be great.

FYI
I just changed my time in options to GMT 3:30 Newfoundland and brought the time up with correct Rocky Mountain Time minus about 3 minutes for my posts.

Anybody thought of a meet-up spot yet? I don't know Denver very well so I'm not the best to suggest...

The Springs drivers can meet at Chapel Hills Mal outside of Sears in their parking lot around 8 am. We can follow each other up to Denver. The I Hop is off of C470 and Ken Caryl Ave. Let me know if you want to meet at the mall.

No problem, I'll talk to one of my friends he has a Boxster see if they want to make the drive? The weather should be right. Otis, get your mouth ready for some I-Hop. I'll throw a cooler of water in the trunk.
