Talking Colorado Crossfires

I wanted to be the first to say thank you to all of the CCC that went out this weekend. Dave, RJ, Markus, Evan, and all of their seat covers too. lol (sorry, couldn't resist)
I had a blast of a time, and can't wait for the next journey together.
The open arms, and friendship was given the second I met every single one of you guys and gals. Thank you again.
I wanted to make this be one of those mastercard commercials, but I'm just not that bright. lol
So here goes

Two tanks of gas; $120
Motel Room; $100
Food and snacks $100
Multiple car washes $20
New Windshield $??? Hate to ask
5 Crossfires pulled over, (by the law) - Priceless

Glad to see you are home safe and sound. I will add that picture to my favorites. Glad we didn't have to add a ticket to that story.

It was a great get together! We will have to plan a trip to your part of the state for next summer. Maybe a three day event or drive really fast.

Also, don't speed in Teller County.

I have two weeks off in October for Fall break, maybe if the weather is right I will work on something on a weekend. October 4th and 5th - 18th and 20th. Anything look good to you guys?

Hey is this the official CCC group? I just moved to Denver from Phoenix AZ like a week ago. I have been in multiple GTG in phoenix and really enjoyed them. I have yet to see one crossfire on the road....I didn't even see 1 on the entire drive here. Anyways. Let me know if you guys plan another meeting any time soon.

Grant

Welcome to Colorado. We are a loose community of Crossfire owners who live in Colorado. To be a member of the CCC, you have to live in Colorado and own a Crossfire. Welcome! Watch this section for any Colorado get togethers. If next weekend is nice, we might have to hook up somewhere.

I have to say this is a great group of owners and have open arms. I am from the "other side of the mountain" and had a blast the one trip i got join them on. Can't wait for the next one I can attend. Look forward to meeting you then. Just dont let RJ lead, unless you want a police escort - that ones just for you guys.

Welcome to Colorado Grant, I was transfered from Phoenix for my job years ago. Drop me a line with your email address and I will add you to my email list of Crossfire owners. You are in the right spot to stay informed about up comming plans, it tends to be a little quiet this time of year. I had my Crossfire out for a drive last weekend, took it up to Cripple Creek the day the weather was nice. The roads were wet up there in spots so a complete wash job had to be done this week and now she is back under covers.

I see there is discussion about a GTG next weekend if the weather is nice. I would love to make a drive to Denver for lunch. Who all is interested?

Should I work to get a police escort for the group? lol

R.J.

I thought I would drop you all a line to let you know we are looking at lunch next weekend. Are any of you available? Bladecutter recommended the meeting, sounds like saturday will be the warmest. I'm not sure how the roads will be in the foothills but we would be up for a drive if it is not in the snow. What do all of you think? I will post this on the forum as well in case we have any newbies that would like to attend.

.

HAHA!! I would hate to show you what mine looks like right now! It used to be garaged in warm weather in PHX. Now, it is parked outside, and is almost unrecognizable as a white vehicle.

I will not be able to make a meet this Saturday. My only day off this weekend is Friday. My schedule is sort of unpredictable at this point, but I will let you know if I am able to make it. Well everyone sounds nice here in CO. I live outside the denver area in Lakewood.

So what is the average age of the CCC group? I am 26.

Blackberry, I will PM you my email address.

I think that would be a great run depending on how the roads are. We got 4" of snow in the lower elevations today and I'm not sure how much the high country got. Looks like we are going to have some warm weather this week, so it may melt. Sunday looks to be a bit warmer as well...

Maybe we should make this a last minute decision and wait until later in the week or put it out another week? What do you think? I was reading up and it sounds like a drive on to the state park from golden is supposed to be good as well. It could be a fun drive if the roads are good.

I love the idea of a drive up 6.
I have yet to drive or ride that road, but have been meaning to for quite a while now.

Depending on a whole host of things, Bat and I are hoping to make it, but, as we all know, life sometimes throws curves in at the last minute. Once curve was thrown at us by her Crossfire the same day I suggested this weekend. Its in the shop now, and waiting for parts to come in on Tuesday.

BC.

Maybe the following weekend would be a better choice since we have snow in the mountains

Red face Re: Colorado Crossfires

Okay boys and girls, crossfire fans of all ages. Who's stll out here and active in Colorado? I'm proud and beyond excited that I have finally rejoined the Crossfire family again. Have to give credit to RJ who predicted a few years ago that the next time he saw me it would be in an SRT, and here I am. Missed the forum and the new found friends. Im here, just got home from georgia and a lot of tornados to pick up the SRT. Spring is coming and I'd love to get together. Right off of the I70 in parachute for anyone traveling through and a bit closer for the next get together.

Great to see you still have a Crossfire! Congrats on the purchase. Not much on the calendar yet, but some of us are going to a dyno day up in Johnstown (north of Denver) on the 17th. I know it would be a long haul for you, but you could get some base numbers on your car for sure.

Welcome back to the dark side BC. We will have to make a drice out that way when the weather gets better. Maybe a drive through Craig, Steamboat and back home? We could pick everyone up along the way. It would be a long day but nice mountain scenery when it is a little warmer. What color is your car? attach a picture for us old guys to envy. lol
