Hey guys, I would love to go along for another trip out, but Megan's sister is in town this weekend with her bf, and I guess we're headed to Estes Park. Have fun, and good luck with the cops!

Okay - we're in - now don't jump all over us simply because we can't retract our top - - - we are looking forward to meeting you and to doing whatever we can to help make the CCC an active, fun and supportive group. See you in Sedalia, Saturday morning at 11:00. Looking forward to usurping Blackberry's claim to the oldest CCC member ;-)

Just another thought - our cell is 970-846-0779 - when we caravan with our DeLorean friends, we have always taken our "personal radios" - great way to keep in touch and to point out problems (our highway "protectors"
) or neat things to see that might have been otherwise overlooked - do you do this?

It was a blast! We had a very nice day for weather. I have posted pictures in my gallery. I don't know if we will be able to squeeze in another run this year or not. If not, see you next spring!
What a great day for a drive, 120 miles of beautiful Cololrado scenery with friends. I enjoyed meeting our new traveling Crosfire friends, ****, Leslie and John, I hope we can all do this again next year. Check out my gallery albums, "Tail of the Trout 2008", and "Reflections from the hood." Mary took some interesting shots with the reflection of fall and Garden of the Gods off the hood of the Crossfire. I'm glad I dusted it off after our stop in Woodland Park for lunch. I knew all that waxing would pay off someday. lol
Now if we can just persuade so of our out of state friends to come over next year. This run has it all, beautiful scenery of the Coloraod Rockies, the curves of Tail of the Dragon with a drive through 6,500 ft. to 8500 ft. mountain passes. A true test of our Crossfires abilities.

Hey everyone.... It is Wednesday Oct. 29 and I just checked the weather for this weekend and it is supposed to be 71 on Saturday November 1st. How about another run to Bishops Castle on Saturday? The last one was in the Spring with snow on the ground, this one would be a little nicer, even a chance to get up in the castle. Check the link below if you have never been to the Castle, it is a beautiful run through the mountains on state scenic roads. We could even stop at the Happy Apple Farm in Penrose on the way or Pueblo for mexican food on the way home, I have a restaurant in mind.

Meet at 11 am, Garden of the Gods Visitor Center? A stop at Happy Apple Farm in Penrose might produce some good homemade sandwiches if they are not all gone by noon, they only make so many a day, and a piece of homemade pie. Have you ever been there?
