Hi everyone, I have received a message from BURT Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Parker and their car show is on the 20th of June. I will put the info into this notice. Last year it was free entry and they roasted a pig, free food. According to the GM there were 170 cars that turned out to participate. I was thinking we could either use this car show as a kick off to a drive this summer or if you are interested in entering we could make it a two day event with dinner Saturday night with a short evening drive and a long drive on sunday.

The car show will be June 20th this year. We welcome you and your club. Last year we had to have people directing traffic to get cars in. It was quite the show! There is also a first time car show in Colorado Springs on the 6th of June sponsored by the Pikes Peak Region Mopar Club. I have also been in contact with them. This is a paid event but could be used as a stop of point to show our support on the way back from a drive.

I got a note about the Colorado Springs show as well. I think it is $20 to enter. I'd rather do the free one in Parker and spend $20 on gas or food myself.

 

I agree, but we might use this as a stopping point during a drive just to see what happens. Maybe on both if there is little interest in being in the car show. The weather should be right for driving the cars.
