Do you know the area at all.....we are not familiar with it at all so if you can add some advice that will be great....think we will be staying at the Auburn Inn ...we won't have a computer with us so can't email...if you want to send your cell number we can get in touch that way or just look for our cars....mine is yellow and Lisa's is dark grey...Judi

Hello Everyone!

I am sitting here in Auburn with MsGump, and we are discussing the ACDFestival 2009. We are wondering who would be interested in attending this years festival in Indiana this year. As many of you midwesterners may already know, Auburn was built on the famous Auburn vehicles and they continue to showcase the vehicles to this day each year during labor day weekend. I am personally very interested in getting the crossfire forum this year as the Auburn Speedster body resembles the Crossfire roadster in many ways. Thoughts??

I can help Judi (msgump) work out hotel rates, restaurant rates, etc should anyone being interested in attending this year. Id like to see as many crossfires as possible at this event so I can meet some of you before I move back out west. Let us know if this might be something you would be interested in! I know Jay Leno and many other celebs attend this event each year. Id love to see the crossfire forum involved. Dates are September 4th-7th.

Had a great trip....the Auburn Car Club was at the same hotel and had some of those great looking cars with them...I loved the town and the drive to Shipshawana is nice too....Hudson Museum is there with great old Hudson's...what memories...I'm planning on going back July 11th if anyone is interested in a GTG....Nice easy drive from MI....stopped at Schulers for lunch in Marshall MI and then on down....some nice wineries too...Labor day is their big Car show and all the hotels are booked for this year and next already. If any interest in going for Labor Day might have to stay in Fort Wayne or other surrounding town...Judi

 

Do I remember correctly that Jay Leno has a Crossfire? If so get him to bring his to this GTG now that would bring some attention to the car and club
