Well the weather outside sucks right now but this Sunday is supposed to be mid-50's so lets get one last meet in before the cars go into hibernation for the winter.

I talked with mdaniels4 about this a few weeks ago and nothing came about out of it. I think we should meet up somewhere central to everyone and just get as many people out as we can and hit up a Hooters or something like that. Haven't seen anyone from MN but Jonny this whole summer! worst case, we just grab a bite to eat and BS about cars and women. Should be a fun time if people are looking to get out of the house.

I'm open to suggestions on location and time but Sunday looks to be the warmest or the two days this weekend.

I think that's a great idea Rudy. Unfortunately, I will be in Cincinnati and SW Kentucky this Saturday through the next. Mark BTW, was the tail already done yet, or is it like next week? I'll bet you had, or will have an absolute blast.

 

Dragon is the last weekend of the month so I'm praying it doesn't get real sh*tty around then.

So the guy I talked with about getting something lined up with is out. Who can a guy count on these days. LOL JK

well, for what it's worth, i won't be putting the Cross away until I think Thanksgiving. My wife's old car is a 2002 Tribute with about 96K on it that looks like it just came off the sales floor, and when she bought her new one this summer we decided to keep it and put the Cross away for the winter, so i'd drive the tribute all winter. I was always worried that someone would smack me and i'd lose the Cross to the insuurance because its' value was so low. So having the Tribute is a real blessing for that reason. Anyway, it'd be fun to get together at Hooters, maybe at B'ville parkway and 35W if that's still open, when you get back from the Dragon, and regale us poor schmucks who couldn't go with tales of the tail.

 

I'm up for a get-together too. Sunday's good for me, but Mark can't make it. Maybe the next weekend? We had a great time with everyone in Hastings last summer!

 

thanks for the inviteto the get together. Apparently it is no longer going to happen . When it does happen, where and what time. My wife and I have not gotten together with fellow crossfire owners before. We have owned our pearl blue srt roadster since oct.,'07.

 

This coming weekend is booked.
But 24th or 25th could work for me.

 

I say we get as many people together as we can this weekend. Not trying to not include those that can't make it but the weatherman has as much a chance at accurately forecasting how the weather is going to be next weekend as he would forecasting what I'm going to eat for lunch tomorrow.

I'm in until noon sunday at which point if I'm still the only one that wants to do something, I'll have the get together at my house by my self and the only good thing about that would be the short drive.

Spread the word people and lets have some fun!

 

My car is still in the shop getting new bumpers, radiator, trunk lid, and hood mounting brackets. Should be done next week. Unfortunetly I won't make it.

 

Okay, I can do this Sunday the 18th, but I can't do next Sunday the 25th. It would just be me - my wife can't make it.

Atleast I'm getting an aftermarket mesh grill out of the deal.

 

My social director is out of town until tonight, (Friday) but I know we have a wedding to attend Saturday. I'll have to wait until tonight to make sure Sunday is good for us.

Sorry I didn't back to you. We had a lot of things going Friday night and yesterday. My wife returned to town Friday night and we had a dinner to attend. Saturday was a wedding and the recption got a little late last night. Today didn't work for us. Next week would work if the weatherman cooperates. If you guys went today hope you had a great time.
