We went topless to Castle Rock, Co. for the Sat car show. It was a big turnout with even one red Crossfire coupe in the show. I took too many pictures to post but here are a couple of cars you don't see on the road that much. Can you Tell me their names?
Hint, the first one is worth between $180,000 and $200,000. The guy didn't even take the bugs off of the front bumper. It was parked near the Ferarri group.
The next to last one drove to Aspen and back yesterday, is part of our Mopar family and averaged 26 mpg for the 300 + mile trip. I guess we really haven't come that far in 50 years when it comes to mpg. If you know anything about Colorado, he said, "I struggled a little up Floyd Hill but overall she handled real good"
There was the normal hot rods, ford mustangs, chevys and dodges, but also some real interesting older cars.
Happy Fathers Day to all,
R.J.

Happy Fathers Day Blackberry! Looks like you had fun, perfect weather. Here's my guess:
2010 Bentley Continental Supersports
1990 Avanti four-door
1973 Ferrari Dino 246
1950 *****'s Jeepster
46 Dodge ?
1948 Plymouth Special Deluxe
Am I even close?

You are on the money. I didn't even know the dino existed.Whjo would have guessed a cheap Ferrari. lol
That 1990 Avanti was a shocker also. I had forgot they had tried to bring it back, plus I thought they were all two doors. Go figure.
Mary and I took a drive up towards Deckers. We parked along trout creek, spread out the blanket and had lunch. It was a beautiful dive and nperfect end to a great weekend.

I had to google the Avanti just to make sure it was real, like you I have only seen the 2 door versions. Sounds like a great weekend for you two. WE NEED TO DO THE GOLDEN HOT ROD CRUISE THINGY THIS SUMMER. Give me a holler when you guys go up K?
We will be out of town in July but maybe we can plan to go Sat. Aug. 7th? Take a look at your schedule when it gets a little closer and see if that will work.
That's Labor Day weekend and we will be out for our last summer campig trip. Oct 2nd is the last cruise of the year, maybe that will work. If not this year there is always next year. We will have to plan a drive to Bishops Castle on a weekend between now and then.
