Found a Great Place for Body Work and would Welcome a Tour (NW Chicagoland Suburb)
I am in. But as some of you know, my car started to overheat two days ago. I still havent had a chance to fix the issue yet. If she starts acting up, i would be automatically out. I hope she will behave...
Leaving now with BSB6 and meeting FP at his house on the way to the shop in Island Lake.
Com'n Gary .... I've been home for 20 minutes from the tour and lunch so where's the pics and commentary?
Today was a good GTG !!!
Weather cooperated nicely and the sun was out and the skies were blue.
A few of us gathered at FP's house on the way up to Custom Classics in Island Lake.
They have a nice shop with some extremely high end vehicles inside.
Might be a chance at some custom Crossfire side skirts in the future dare I say it after the last side skirt disaster.
We toured the facility and got some goodies from the owner (Bryan).
Then off to lake Geneva, Wisconsin for lunch at Popeye's were we enjoyed some great food and service.
Parking was a bit difficult since there was a huge outdoor craft fair going on this weekend.
After lunch some headed off in different directions and the rest of us went back to FP's house for some more refreshing cold beverages and BS'ing about CICCI etc.
Along the way we stopped for a photo shoot and then had a little fun in the parking lot comparing burnouts and suddenly a person appeared who I presume owned the property so we quickly got the hell out of there ..LOL
Overall a SUCCESS in every way.
Thanks to IBLUBYU (Howard) for setting up today's GTG !!
Here is a link to ALL the pics I took today.

Looks like a great GTG!
FP's roadster would look better if it had a wing like IBLUBYU's.
