Well I got on this list about 5 yrs ago when I bought a black base model coupe and noticed my headlight switch had the pullout on it to light my non existent fog lights. Well I asked the same question of this forum and never got any answers back. I guess no one has tried it.
Good luck

No there is no harness in the car and had to run my own wires, but there is a diagram that shows which pins to plug into so they are wired right to the original switch , the lights, an inline fuse holder and some wire was all I needed' if I remember correctly, it's been 8 yrs go
I got my lights used from a fellow forum member at a reasonable price, I don't know how hard it will be to find a set nowadays.

I had fog lights installed in my 2007 base model. I was lucky to have Rudy Compart do an A1 factory install. There are 2 ways to install, you can use the in line fuse or find someone who knows the CF like Rudy. He has worked on hundreds of CF. Yes, the head light switch pulls out that engages the fog lights. You can find fog lights, they are out there, all depends what $ you are willing to pay. There are also some threads on the forum with great pictures, step by step procedure. I purchased the inline fuse and never used it. If I can find it, it's yours, I can't return it, bought from eBay. Good luck, the fog lights are a nice addition to the base model.
