I see post from Colorado and Missouri, but have not seen anything from Kansas, although I have not looked everywhere in the forum yet. So i was just wondering if there is anybody from Ks around, and for the people in Co. and Mo. if or any where relatively close if you are planning to meet up sometime i would like to join in if i can, and have the time.

 

I may be from Mo, but I just spent the last weekend in Kansas City. I go there often to visit the daughter in school. If it's in eastern Kansas, I might be able to make it.

 

Independence Kansas, Southeast Corner you know the other Independence. I would love to meet up sometime this summer. I am planning on going a couple of shows that direction.

i'm in wichita.

 

I am moving to DeSoto in a couple of weeks. I just bought a Blaze Red '05 Crossfire Roadster and will be picking it up on the 27th. I think that DeSoto is pretty close to Lawrence.

desoto is just down k10 about 5 to 10 miles from lawrence,when you get there let me know and maybe we can get together and have a drink or something. I think that there are about 4 or 5 other crossfires around lawrence and maybe one or two in desote and erdora, nice to hear from you, talk to you later.

Hey everyone -- just wanted to say Hi. I live in the Kansas City, KS area and plan on purchasing a Crossfire in a year, so I am just here to see what's going on with everyone.

I do have a couple of questions...

Is there a Kansas & Missouri Crossfire Club started yet?

And has anyone purchased their Crossfire from a Carmax dealership? That's were I plan on buying mine from when the time comes.

srt nationals, count me in. As for a kansas/missouri club, i don't think so, at least not something formal. And for carmax never bought anything from them, but really haven't heard anything good about them, but thats most car dealers!

Newbie on here from Overland Park KS.
Got a suggestion for those with the time this weekend.
Come visit our free show @ Ward Parkway shopping center.
The KC Mopar club HPAC is doing our annual show for all things.
Mopar and we would love to have you there and see your cars.

Spectators are free, show entry is $25 if memory serves and includes,
a shirt and dash plaque etc. June 10-11 Sat and Sun 9-4 @
8629 Stateline Road. Satellite lot just west of the mall.
Looking for around 150 cars based on past attendance.
Wing cars, Vipers, Darts, Shelby's etc.

I will be there with 2 cars and would love to meet other CF owners from the KC area.

 

Make sure everyone at this local show knows about the Nationals. We would love to have everyone join us in Topeka for the car show or whatever other activities people would like to participate in. The local Viper chapters will be there in full force. We'd really like to see more Crossfires attend.

I have been talking up the show, trying to get more locals aware/attending.

Seems like the perfect venue to spur interest in a local club or at least
pump members into the existing ones like HPAC.

You know a guy named Jim Bur ??

 

Don't know the name, yet. Who is it? I have so many names floating through this small noggin of mine trying to promote this event I can't keep them all straight. Thanks for the help spreading the word. It really is a great event for local clubs to meet at. There will be a ton of DCX and Mopar corporate stuff there as well. It promises to be bigger and better than most local events.

 

Buck70, I can't make it the 10th but will try to make it on the 11th. Sounds like a good time.
