Default Will the cold ever end?

I mean really, storing the car for 7 months is ridiculous! I am really starting to miss the warm weather of AZ and TX. Even when the temps are warm enough to melt the snow, there is so much of it that the streets will be dirty and wet until May or June!! Arrrgghhhh!! Well, at least I'm keeping the milage low.

Thanks, just had to vent!

Sorry.

As my boss would say....."I've got 3 words for ya!"

The first two words are .....suck my ____ .....but I'll let your imagination run wild.

cgocifer - I hear ya'. This winter has been harsh. It was in the negatives last week and we are supposed to get more snow tonight and tomorrow to add to the ~18" or so already on the ground.
Everything up here is white from salt too.

The SRT6 is hibernating, but I think it wants to wake up real bad.

Had mine out again yesterday. Roads around Chicago are dry and pretty much salt free on main highways. I live a mile from the interstate so I head over and jump on I-88 west and head out on a nice highway drive. It keeps my Crossfire withdrawal's to a minimum. As RPM on the other side of the lake said...more snow coming so back in hibernation for a few weeks again.

Meh! Cars are meant to be driven and you can always wash it, go out, have fun, and get dirty with it

Yah, I can't wait for spring! I wash my work car and drive it 50 feet and it is dirty again. The crossfire will stay in the garage till late April I guess.

Drove my xfire today. Lot's of sand in my subdivision but the main roads were OK. Felt good to accelerate again! I miss driving it! I don't know what I'm gonna do with my bike this year. I love riding it but I also love driving my xfire! What's a guy to do?
I keep telling my wife I hate the winter and want to move to NC but she won't budge.

A balmy 36 today, main roads in the city clean and dry . However the 6 to 10 inch ruts in hard pack ice/snow make getting out of my sub division a task even in a full sized car. With only a 5 inch clearance I would spend most of my time pushing and shoveling to get my Crossfire 2 blocks to dry pavement So here I will sit till late Aprill, when I can challange the "POTHOLES'

Soon, gentlemen, soon! We broke 32 degrees today for the first time since.....since.............mid-January! Had the SRT out over the weekend & actually drove it to work today!
It's a miracle........
Of course the roads are for crap (including the potholes that "hey, that wasn't there yesterday" appear out of nowhere) which allows me to sing in tremelo while driving but they are dry & I guess that's something. Still can't see over the tops of the snow piles around the driveway so I'm still doing the crawl & stop & crawl & stop routine while pulling out.
Come on spring..........

So come back home! You are welcome any time. Of course, I don't know what you would do without the ocean, but there's always Luke AFB...
