TAPS Cruise
Can I get an idea of who will be at the TAPS cruise on May 3rd? Also if anyone is interested in an apres cruise activity?

Are we meeting somewhere before hand? What is the actual adress?
I need to punch it into mapquest to see what time I have to leave my home.

It's raining here with a forecast of showers and drizzle all day. I hate this F-----g area. The news says on a positive note it will be sunny on monday while we are all working.
My car will be staying in the garage as it isn't worth driving an hour and a half to get rained out.
It looks like a devine power just doesn't want me to join NEX!
Sorry Nightrider.

It's kind of gray in Southeastern Mass. right now. The bride and I made a casino run to Foxwoods yesterday. The Xfire stayed in the yard due to the inclement weather. It looks like it won't be going far today because the weather hasn't improved. Look at it from the positive side. The forest fire danger is low and the lawn is getting really green.
It's one of those busy weekends anyways. We buried a 60 year old friend yesterday morning; we went to the casino to make a donation to the Indians yesterday afternoon and evening; we have a 50th birthday party tonight for another friend; and we have a birthday party tomorrow for one of my grandsons. Not much down time this weekend.

I made a donation at Mohigan Sun last night..lol...
We had 3 Crossfires and I want to thank them for their part in raising $1500 to help families of Fallen Warriors. I am proud to be apart of those who helped. I hope next year we can triple the number of NEX members there. I know you are buzy and we just had a run but these families will never see the face of their loved one that met an early death for all of us. Please remember that these men an women that gave their last full measure for us have families...families that mourn everyday and struggle with their loss. How much struggle is it to wipe a heavy dew from a crossfire?

The weather was dull and dreary but the people that showed made it a fun time. Besides, I got enough Maguires Quick Detailer to last me til next year. Could have had a whole case. Thanks nightrider for your thoughtfullness of our fallen heroes and thier families. It is truly a great day when we have some way that we can show our heartfelt sympathy and love for our fallen soldiers and family members who know all too well, freedom is NOT FREE!!!!!

By the way, the apres show activities had something to do with sheep. I decided that I wouldn't stay for that. I can just picture nightrider, in a drunken stupor with his favorite sheep, trying to push her over the fence. It's all downhill from there. He named the sheep Molly.
Trail thanks for post #1. As for post #2 the Solstice Rent-a-Fleece Costume Shop called looking for u...return is overdue. BTW I was playing that 90's song "Oh Ricky You're So Fine"

Oh by Gosh by Golly its time for mistletoe and Molly. Its just too eazy to pull the wool over your eyes. Hey did you know the Solstice engineers found a new use for sheep? They call it wool.
I wanted to say a special thanx to Robby363 and Crossfire Tral for being at TAPS. Inspite of weather we raised about 2K for this group.
