Are there upcoming car shows you are planning to attend in your area? Post it here with the date, times, and location so the other members of -N-E-X- can see it and let you know if they can possibly attend. It would be nice to get a few XFires into some of these local area shows. Also give a brief description of the event as far as the size of the event, best time to arrive, food & drink available, half & halfs or other raffles, etc. If you could post the above info a week or so in advance we could gather some replies as to whether fellow XFire owners will be attending. It would be nice to know when and where people are planning to be at car shows.

Hmmm? No interest in the car shows from the -N-E-X- group so far. Maybe it's too early to be thinking about them. Maybe we need some more great weather before those thoughts become more prevalent.

I did some looking around yesterday and there is no web info for when Kimball's farms will be doing there weekly car shows. I go to the westford or Jaffrey,Nh. one a couple times a summer. If you bring a car for the show they let you in free. Ice cream and cook out foods are sold during the shows.

I hope to attend a show here in South Carolina. Last year we took our 05 roadster and 92 stealth twin turbo to an all mopar show (happy to have won 1st and 2nd respectivally). I know there are at least two of these in the Greenville area. Of course you can always take the crossfire to most shows that don't limit it to 25 years old or older, for those we take our 66 corvette and 69 camaro rs/ss.

My favorite New England shows are (Worcester MA) New england nationals
in July, Middletown CT Columbus Day Goddard Park Warwick (?) RI late July earl Aug and the Classic British Car Show Waterford CT June 8

Also I love the cruise nights at Ocen Beach New London CT Monday nites. Colchester CT Commons 3rd Weds and Mohegan Sun Weds nights w/fireworks

 

Not much response in this thread about XFire owners attending car shows. I guess most of us are going in different directions during the summer months. It also looks like any -N-E-X- activities may be better put off to fall. If there are any contrary minded people, please speak up. Things are slow in the New England Forum.
