Default Poll for possible Goddard Park Picnic Cruise

It's about time that we do another cruise, we have so many great people that are in our midst, members and non-members. Goddard State Park in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, Is a perfect spot for a cruise and car show. We can park our cars together and have a Crossfire Only show. I can even list it in the Newspaper. I'd love to do this in early October, leaves changing color, nice temperatures, great company and a picnic. Throw out some thoughts please and let's get together once again. The Newport cruise was fun and we had quite a showing of cars. What say y'all? I have a tentative date of the 19th, it's a sunday. Let me know please and I will continue on that path.
Rick

I suppose I could park the car for the next few months and store up enough miles to go back to the cape.

Try to do it on a sunday please so you all can finally meet my wife. So I'm in.

Sounds like a plan to me. Lorna and I should be able to make it.

Welcome, I agree with the weather being great, if the sun is shining. If not, we still can have fun. Many things to do a lot of great pictures there.

I think a Sunday is do-able.
Chime in with any thoughts, those that have responded.
I'll keep a running total.

I'm supposed to be starting a job out in Texas around the beginning of the month (Sept-Oct). If I'm not moving or there count me in.

Rick, Nichole and I will probably attend. I have no excuse not to go considering the size of our little state. The fall landscape will make a nice back drop for photo time. Oh yeah I also don't want to let you old bastards have all the fun either, hehe. No tickets this time Stan and Jen!

Hey Stan!

With talks of a shirtless Rick and Bruce, I thought it would be best to avoid that gathering, hehe joking.

I'll be at the next one!

Updates? Updates? We don't need no stinking updates!!!

Actually, I'm working on a few things right now. A lot has been happening, for the good. Making life a little more busy for me but with an attached advantage. Last weekend the wife and I had a great thing happen. I had won a Weekend of Luxury for two in Newport, from Inskip Motor Group. It consisted of a car for the long weekend (BMW Z-4 3.0 Si) in White with red leather, inline 6. Smaller than the x-fire but fun especially with the top down. A night at the Chanler Hotel on Cliff Walk. A round of golf at Newport National, Dinner at the West Deck and Breakfast at the Spiced Pear in the Chanler. The next day after the breakfast we went to the Breakers Mansion for a guided tour, just us two. When that was finished, we went to the Elms Mansion for a behind the scenes tour then a lunchion at the carriage house on the expansive property. Then back to the Breakers for a look at all the grounds. I took 145 pictures in total. I saw one Xfire roadster that I shot once. I saw it several times throughout the weekend. This whole package was worth about $4,000 bucks, worth every penny too. Now I know what the extremely well-to-do, can do. I like it, now if I could just win powerball........ I'll post some of the pics in my gallery. Rick

Thats cool Rick. I've driven a Z4 3.0i and it was probably one of the best, most exciting cars that I have ever driven. The 3.0si is even better considering it has an additional 40hp over the 3.0i. The Z4 was really what I wanted to buy last summer but I couldn't find the right combination with the right mileage, hence the SRT6. What are your thoughts about the bimmer??
