Informal Columbus Day Cruise
Informal Columbus Day Cruise
I was talking to Rick (Crossfire Tail) About taking a southern NH and VT run on Columbus Day. Informal but great countryside. He suggested I open invite the group, I certainly have no problems with that. Although loosely Planned we will probally go to the Mt Wachusett tool road/ Mt Monadnock out around Wilmington VT and back via Quabbin (Stunning in the Fall) Trip will be adjusted for time and comfort of group. The leaves will probally still be mostly green but the run takes us acroos covered bridges, mountain and farms with cows and sheep in fields, along with roadsude farmer's stands etc. Also NH & VT have the lowest gas prices in New England. Be careful Casper a leave might fall on Ole Betsy.

Re: Informal Columbus Day Cruise
Well Casper, 2000 miles to me is 2 1/2 months in summer (I ride the v-rod then) or 1 1/2 rest of year. We plan to meet in your nieghborhood (Mt Wachusetts Parking lot) With the characters you know I think the mileage could be less
Ole Betsy will be taking her long winter nap in her heated garage soon anyway.
JAMES1549 you are welcome to come too. You can sleep on my couch.
