Last year we had a pretty good turnout about 7 cars. We all got in free and folks loved the cars. This year I would like to make it even better with many more cars.

8 to the bar is a great group to listen and dance to. The food is amazing and there is so much to do that I just don't know where to start. Anyone that was there last year, feel free to post any comments and let's get this thing rolling. Rick

P.S. I just spoke with Heather from the Seafood Council and we are good to go with our own car show. Just like last year. All we have to do is get there before the gates open at 11:00a.m. and we are good to go. There is no cost for us being there. We can wander around and look at all the places to have food, vendors selling all sorts of stuff, and much more.

Because this is a special deal that I worked out with Heather, who is the head of the fest., we get in for free and have our cars within sight at all times. We are also right near the stage for the group. Last year 8 to the bar had some special guests
"Roomfull of Blues" was there too. Made for a very exciting day.

Damn! I have Guard Duty that weekend of course!
That means I am missing a pig roast, a family graduation party and now the Seafood Fesitval! When it rains it pours!

Everyone please don't hesitate to go to this, it is a great time with great food and free entertainment along with a car show.

Bump Please

 

OK folks, we have a few cars lined up, no many but a few. We will be meeting at exit 7 on 95 south at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant at 8:00 a.m. I'll be there until 8:30 if there are any straglers. I wll be in the shop having breakfast. See you then. If there is anyone that wishes to come, please feel free to just come and find us at CB. We all have to go in the gates together. We will have a great spot to park, please bring your own lawn chars and /or blankets to sit upon.
Last year was great, we had 5 cars. I had hoped for more this year. But it did not happen! We will still have a great time!
